Happy Friday, friends! At the end of what feels like the longest week we’ve had in a while, I am looking forward to some pretty exciting stuff this weekend. Last weekend, we celebrated Jacob’s second birthday and we went all. out. He deserved every second of it, but holy moly it left me wiped. We haven’t hosted a party at our home since September of 2019 so I was a bit out of practice and I felt like I had run a marathon (or what I imagine it might feel like to run about a tenth of a marathon) when I woke up Monday morning. Having such a beautiful celebration with family and friends we hadn’t seen in so long made me even more excited for a summer of getting back into the swing of things. Here are five things that I’m loving and looking forward to on this Friday!
- Old Navy jeans – I ordered these jeans last week and they arrived really quickly. They are truly the perfect happy medium between skinny jeans (which I will never give up) and boyfriend jeans (which are not very flattering on me). The light wash is perfect for Spring into Summer and they’re super comfortable – and less than $50!
- Cantina Especial tequila drinks – Guys. It’s tequila. In a can. I tried the Paloma and Watermelon Margarita flavors last weekend and I am officially calling these guys my drinks of the summer. They’re so light and refreshing, and the fruit flavors aren’t overwhelming at all. I can’t wait to try the Ranch Water flavor next!
- Hideaway and Climber – Now that we have a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old, we are deep in the toddler crazy stage. While playground season is definitely here and we love getting out as much as we can, there are still those rainy days where we’re stuck inside and I think this Hideaway and Climber structure is exactly what we need to keep the boys entertained and active.
- Tomorrow afternoon, I’m heading in to Boston to go wedding dress shopping with my cousin. I’m so so excited and honored to be able to join her and can’t wait to see Newbury St. in all of Springtime glory, too!
